somedays feel like this. it’s been long and shaky and scary and it doesn’t feel good until much, much later, after all the instant relief hits you in a way that isn’t exactly joyous. at first you fall to the ground as if you’re a magnet and the earth is your other pole and you want to feel like something’s still solid and you want to collapse and you want to never do the scary thing again but you’re glad you did it and it’s all so much at once. then later, it’s calm, and quiet, and it’s over, and it isn’t, all at once. because you never stop crossing bridges, not ever.
